The Hasher’s Code of Conduct

FOLLOW THE CODE OF CONDUCT AT ALL TIMES:

YOU HASH AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU HASH AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU HASH AT YOUR OWN RISK.

  • Refrain from any kind of harassment (physical, psychological, sexual, religious, gender- or race-based, etc.)
  • Report any harassment immediately to a responsible adult and to the relevant authorities
  • Avoid all drama that distracts from or interferes from the core shared activities of
    • Running trails
    • Drinking beer
  • Not photograph / film anyone who doesn’t want to be, and not share pics / video without explicit permission
  • Take part in all Hash House Harriers events, gatherings, and other activities entirely 100% at my own risk, and take responsibility for my own actions, and my own children (if brought along as agreed in advance with mismanagement to family-friendly events only)

The Constitution of the Hash House Harriers, 1950:

  • To promote physical fitness among our members
  • To get rid of weekend hangovers
  • To acquire a good thirst and to satisfy it in beer
  • To persuade the older members that they are not as old as they feel
